The Empowering Symbolism of Frida Kahlo in Our Studio

Have you ever wondered why the first thing you'll notice upon entering our studio is the portrait of Frida Kahlo? To me, she represents the epitome of women in power.

Despite the hardships she experienced, Kahlo still found solace in her passion for painting. Her legacy has emboldened women across the globe, from various creative fields, to speak out about their struggles in life. Moreover, as a woman of mixed heritage, an openly bisexual individual, and a feminist icon, she represents the freedom and empowerment that women can achieve.

Although she had her own weaknesses, such as her love for Diego, I believe many of the wonderful women who visit our studio can identify with her. We want to be seen as strong, powerful individuals, yet we also desire to be nurtured and loved. It's one of the hardest aspects of being a woman in power, but we draw strength from the likes of Frida to push forward.
